It has been thought that the first wife of Ferdinand Jacob Sanders, born KY 1839, was Sarah Loiuisa Barefoot but this is not correct. Sarah L. Barefoot was married to Ferdinand Tillman Saunders in Grayson Co. TX. He died and she remarried with the last name of Elder. She filed a Widow's Application For a Pension 10/3/17 in Palestine, Anderson Co. TX. This being said I need to find the idenity of the first wife of Ferdinand. He was in Hunt Co. TX in the 1850/60's with four sons born to him and his wife. He also remarried in Hunt Co. TX to Paralee Blackburn. He later move to Franklin Co. TX. Please help to correct this line with any information that might help.
