I don't know a whole lot about my father's family. He passes away when I was seven (in 1967). His name was Thomas Camacho Saldana...so I thought. My mother later told me his real name was Margarito Saldana. He was born in Los Angeles on August 6, 1908. He died April 26, 1967 (also in L.A.). His parents were both from Texas, but no too sure whereabouts. Can somebody help me out? I need to find out how to go about researching beyond his parents. I put this all out in case it helps out someone else. It seems dad had kids all over town.
