Yes, the Saldanas migrated to the Indias from Portugal. But it was from Spain where we originated. The town of Fuensaldana, Spain has our own castle-Saldana. I just recently obtained history of our surname Saldana and it is very interesting....we come from a noble and royal bloodline.
