Well in my part of southern california the only way saldana is pronounced would be Sal_dan_ya with the little ~ over the ana ,if it does not have the sign ~ in the last name its pronounced sal_dan_a (Saldanas with the ~ sign in the last name reportedly originate from a small town in spain called "saldana").With the sign ~ in the last name i dont know where they originate from!!!
