I am looking for descendants of Senator Francisco Ruiz of Bexar that met in Columbia, Texas during the Republic of Texas on October 3, 1836. We are dedicating a beautiful park with 20 historical stations, native plants and walking path to the history that happened at that time in Texas. Would love to have descendants of Francisco Ruiz attend the dedication of the "Capitol of Texas Park - A Walk through the Birth of Texas" on April 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. in West Columbia, Texas.
