Im looking for information and those also searching for Ruis Family from the Jemez area. I specifically and looking for information on the following Ruis members:
Juan Ruis (b. ?, d. bef 1845) m. Maria de Jesus Gonzales (Gonzalez)
Son - Jose Rafael Ruis (b. abt 1830) m. Ana Maria Mestas
Daughter - Maria Francisca Ruis (b. abt 1828) m. Manuel Mestas
Juan Ruis would be my ggg-great grandfather. The 's' turned to a 'z' somewhere around the turn of the 1900's
