Hi Rose,
No, I'm not family, just like to help others when
I've hit a road block wih my research.I don't know
how much research you've already done but this is
what I found.
1900 U.S. Census, Arizona, Pinal County, Twnship 4
Juaquin, Teodoro F., Froilan are all living next to
each other. Refugia is living with Froilan. She is
listed as being born in April 1840 in Mx& is widowed.
She and her sons are listed as Aliens/having immigrated
to the United States in 1888. The census lists parents
Teodoro & Refugio) birth place as Mexico/Spanish.
Refugio is not found in the 1910 census. Her sons are living in Florence,AZ.
I no longer have Ancestry.Com or I could have looked
for border crossing records though I'm not really
certain that the records go back to 1888. You might
try contacting "Random Acts of Kindness" Arizona,
they may have someone who would be willing to check
on Refugio and maybe one child.
Do you have the baptism records from the FHL Index for
her children? If not , I can give you those too.
