New twist to Ruiz, Torres, & Pallini families

I noticed something unusual??

New Orleans Ch Rec book Page 295, shows Pierre Pallini and Maria del Pilar RUYZ baptizing son Pierre being bapt May 15, 1826 and having been born April 24, 1826.

The New Orleans Ch Rec book on pg 374 has the interment of Bartholome TORRES on April 22, 1826. Wife/widow was Maria del Pilar RUIZ.

...AND Pierre Pallini and Maria Ruis MARRIED May 15, 1826 the same day the baby was baptized.

Whose the father of the child??

Anyone have any information?
