Hi Meg, I am from a RUCH line too. My grandmother, May V.(Valentine) Ruch , told me that her line also came from Alsace-Lorraine, her father, William Thomas,b.1872,Mo d. 1947,Mo. was the son of John Thomas Ruch.b. Ohio. d?.... John's parents moved to USA in the 1860's during the civil war. I may have more info, but not in front of me now.. Please feel free to contact me thur my email. Thanks Tammy
ps--- I do have some info for a RUCH family that I have not tied into mine yet, I am willing to share that too.
