Just learned that Catherine Ruch born in 1778 in PA was married to John Ruch. Her maiden name was Stamer. They had the following children: Rachel; Henry; Catherine; Mary; Christine; William; Elizabeth(or Lydia); Louisa. Rachel married John Warner; Henry married Sarah McQuilliams; Catherine married George Folk; Christine married Jacob Whisler. These marriages probably took place in York County. WARNER; McWILLIAMS; WHISLER were York County families. The family moved to Butler County, Ohio around 1830. William married Harriet Cartwright; Elizabeth(Lydia) married Robert Maginerty and Louisa married John Thornton McGlaughlin after the family came to Ohio.
