James Rose b 1 Apr 1791 in Winhall, Bennington Co VT.,son of Benjamin Rose and Jane -?- Rose, m 25 Mar 1813 in NY or VT Lucy Barber (b 17 Feb 1793 Pownal, Bennington VT). James Rose and Lucy Barber Rose had the following children all probably born in St Lawrence Co NY:

James Rose appears on the 1820, 1830, 1840 Pierpont, St Lawrence Co NY census. after 20 Feb 1845 this family moved to Hicksville, Defiance Co OHIO. Lucy Barber Rose died before 1848. James Rose m2 Orpha Woods 9 Sept 1848 in Defiance Co OH and they had children:
Samuel Rose b May 1850
Harmon Rose b ca 1852.
The family appears on the 1850 Defiance Co OH census
James Rose son Anson moved to Cassinovia Muskegon Co MI.(1860 & 1870 census), Freeman to Mecosta Co MI,(1860 & 1870 census) sons Samuel and Harmon are listed in 1870 in the home of Joseph Branson and wife Orpha (Woods, Rose?) Cassinovia, Muskegon Co., MI.
I am seeking the death date and place for the elder James Rose or wife Lucy Barber Rose. Any help appreciated.
