John Christian Roeder came from Germany child of this John was John Roeder and it is this John Roeder that is said to have served in the Civil War, possibly in the Indiana 136th Regiment, this is not know for sure. He was married to Hannah Blanchard Born/7 Jun 1848.
Their children were: John William Roeder born 25 Jun 1870 Died 23 Jun 1966/ Christopher Samual born 1867/ died 2 Jan 1951 and Phillip Henry Roeder born 1868 Died 1940.
