d: After 1900 he was 72 in the 1900 Iowa census in Jefferson Twp, Mahaska Co., Iowa
married

In the 1856 Mahaska Co., Census he is in Jefferson Twp, Mahaska Co., Iowa with my GGgrandfather James A. Reid they are in the same place in 1860 census except they are under Reed then they are in the same place in 1870 but back to Reid then in 1880 census Nathaniel Reed in in Liberty, Marion Co., Iowa and my gggrandfather in still in Jefferson Twp, Mahaska Co., Iowa under Reed. James A. Reid died Dec 3, 1883 in Jefferson Twp, Mahaska Co., Iowa and in 1900 census Nathaniel A. Reid in in Jefferson Twp, Mahaska Co., Iowa and thats the last time I find Nathaniel. NOW my gggrandfather was 60 years old when he married my gggrandmother she was 35 and they had 5 children together. I think Nathaniel A. Reid in a son to my James A. Reid b: Nov 2, 1798 Ireland. Both of Nathaniel A. Reid's parents were born Ireland is this father & son or just a coencidence.
