I am descended from Simon also.
My family tree is as follows:
Simon Rehrig
Connrad m Christina Harter
Johannes Rehrig m Susanna Steigerwalt
George Rehrig m Leah Andreas
Thomas Rehrig m Cordelia Steigerwalt
Allen Arthur Rehrig m Katie Fritzinger
Allen and Katie are my grandparents.

Do you have any documentation (wills, etc.) for George on down to Simon? Michael Ledo is having some work done in this area (translating from German) but I haven't followed up with him in a while. I am willing to share what I have with you.
