I'm looking for my Reed (Reid) ancestors.
My gggrandfather was Charles Reed Hutchinson. He was born in 1863 in County Tyrone, Ireland. He died in Ardmore, PA 1957.
His father was James Hutchinson, born 1835 in Tyrone and died in 1909 in Tyrone. James' wife was Jane Reed, born approx. 1833. They were married in Clogher, Tyrone in 1858.
James' father was John Hutchinson, born in Northern Ireland or Paisley, Scotland (where his father was from according to some information I have found) sometime around 1816. Some information I have found claims that he is in Paisley, Scotland in 1841 at the age of 25 with his family visiting his cousin of the same name and thusly ending up on the census.
Some rather suspect information I have received claims that Jane Reed's father was named John Reed (Reid) and was of Tyrone, N. Ire. I prefer at least two separate sources to verify information, that would be why some of my information is viewed as questionable.
Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.
