The new INformation I have must tie in somewhere between us. My family history tells of Eleven Brother who came over. We come from a Samuel Quigley Born 1861 His Parents were John Quigley and Catherine Kelly. Now further reseach on John's brothers are:
1. Daniel Quigley b. 1811 married Margaret Boland on May 18 1831 at the New Market Mission Children Bridget 1849, Anna 1850;
2. Robert and
3. William Quigley residents at the same location in St. Georges's Ward Toronto in the 1842 census. William married Ellen Cahal,in St. Pauls's Church Toronto on Aug 2 1854;
4. Hugh Quigley born 181? married Margaret Mayes children Francis 1842, William 1845;
5. Thomas Quigley married Catherine Hogan - children Patt 1834, John, Dennis and Francis;
6. Bryan Quigley (Older brother?)born 1788, married Margaret Ryan - children Jerome 1829, Thomas, Catherine.
This accounts for 6 of 11 (not borg) could your Samuel be one of their children not mentioned or another brother not listed.
Any info/pic you pass might help. I've posted my tree on the Gen Web Tree. It's not complete yet. I'm in the Navy so I'm not home much to work on this, hopefully I'm home for a while now.
Does any of this match with your other family info?
