Hello, Bernie. Perhaps it will be old news to you now, but the following appears in 1851 Pickering Twp:
Bryan Quigley is 54, IR, RC, farmer. His wife is Margaret, 42, IR. Their children are Judith, 22, IR; Thomas, 17, Canada; Catherine, 17; Ann, 15; Mary, 12; Margaret, 9; Honora, 7; John, 5 & Hugh, 3. [excepting Judith, all children are born in Canada].
I am particularly interested in Ann, who may be the same person shown as Frances A, 27, in 1861, then married to John Hartrick. Her name is shown as Frances Annie Dingley [sic] when a child eventually marries.
