Nancy Peters & Peter Shaver - VA & KY

I'm looking for the parents of Nancy Peters.

Nancy was born 1798, Rockingham Co., VA.

Nancy married Peter Shaver in 1815, VA.

Nancy died in 1878 Muhlenberg Co., KY.
Her death registration list parents as C & Mary Peters.

I've read several places that her father was Christian Peters but haven't been able to verify him as her father.

Anyone else have any knowledge of this family or working on the same?

All clues and info welcomed.
