In search of any information on Peters-Green family's from NY, NJ, PA, AK, OH, IL...
I am in search of information on William Peters and his family who according to the 1920 United States Federal Census for Oak Park Precinct 11, Cook, Illinois states that he was born in New York in 1860, Family states that is was 1859.
Also need to know who the parents of William Peters were.
His wife was one Laura R. Green and she was born in PA
according to family. Her parent's were John Green born in
Easton, Northhampton, Pennsylvania and Leonora (Last name
Unknown).
Family states that the Peters family is of Scottish Descendant and that there may have been some Blackfoot Indian heritage in this line of Peters but I do not know that to be true as well.
William and Laura had 4 children according to the above
census:
John Peters, 20
Harriett C Peters, 24
Lisbeth C Peters, 14
Janet E Peters, 13
John Peters I am told moved to AK and may have been married to a woman named Rebecca (Wife's name not verified).
Janet E. Peters died in CA according to family. She married 3 times I am told. 1st time to a Krafthefer, then a Sylvester/Slyvester and the 3rd husband name not known.
Laura R. Green died before 1920 as she was not listed on
the census and according to family but they are not sure
where she was buried.
No further information is noted about the other children. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
