Was told she was daughter of Mountford Peter; in 1850 she is listed independently from Mountford's family (with other surnames, a surveyor, a physician, etc.). Mountford's other kids are Bernarden, Paris, Armenius, Jesse.
Mountford is s/o Jesse Peter & Millie Sweeney; Jesse is s/o William Peter & Frances Unknown.
I'd been told Mountford's wife was Sallie Peter, but the 1850 census shows an Elizabeth for his wife.
