Thanks for your reply and family tree information. I am looking forward to studying it. If I can add to any of your information, I will and will be grateful for anything you may be able to pass on to me. I am descended through the daughter of Samuel and Sarah, Polly Lowe who married John Graham and came to Texas. At least she started and died on the way, but the family was established here in 1829. You are correct about John and Jonathan and he apparently used the names interchangebly. Samuel's and Sarah's marriage license application is signed by Jonathan Peter and the marriage bond was signed John Peter.
