Julius Peter was born 06 Aug 1886 in "Rochiche, Russia". He immigrated through Bremen, Germany to Balitmore on the ship "Main" on 06 Sep 1912. His last place of residence in Russia was "Sdolbunowo". He married first Anna Getz in Russia.
They and two daughters arrived in Baltimore and they had four more children before Anna died. Anna died about 1918 and by 1920 he had remarried Otillie (Tilly) Hauch. She was also widowed and had been married to John Hauch and had five children. This blend family eventually grew to about 14. Tilly's maiden name is believed to be Schlacht. She was born 13 May 1885 in Warsaw, Poland. Her last place of residence was Libau, Russia (Poland). This area of Europe changed hands several times. These families were German and spoke German and Russian. Tilly and John Hauch came to America aboard
the ship "Patricia" in April of 1905 through Ellis Island. John and Tilly Hauch came directly to Benton Harbor, Michigan and Julius and Anna spent some time in Dowagiac, Michigan. Both families lived in New Troy and Bridgman, Michigan of Berrien County. Ann Peter, Julius's first wife is also seen in records as Marie Peter. I am searching for the parents of Julius Peter.
