I am seeking parents for a Lois Peckham born abt. 1765 in prob. Rhode Island, married Amasa Sherman (b. 11 Sep. 1765, Dartmouth, Mass.,d. 16 Oct 1849 Marion Co., Ohio) Marriage was abt. 1784 in New York. 10 Children born from 1785 to abt. 1805 in Cambridge, Washington Co., N.Y. and Seneca Co., N.Y. all have Sherman family names:Jedidah,Rhoda,Sarah,Eunice etc. Amasa was a son of Capt. Fortunatus Sherman and Sarah Delano. There are many examples of Sherman/Peckham marriages, and many Lois Peckhams can someone connect this lady to the right line, please?
