The earliest Peckham I have been able to trace in my own family is my great,great,great grandfather,Charles Peckham, born 1827 in Ealing, Middx. He married Mary Littica Bernard had five children Hetty, Mary, James ,William and Charles all born in Southampton apart from Hetty the youngest (in Windsor). Charles died 1.8.1861 and was buried in Windsor.
