Infant Lucy Peacock was born August 1837-father was James Peacock in Jackson Mississippi. James was also born in the state of Mississippi.

By 1850 Lucy was living with Thomas and Ann Peacock in Peoria
Illinois, by the end of 1854 Lucy married William Proctor in
White County, Illinois and then they moved to Hamilton County
Illinois and quietly lived out there lives there together.
They were involved in the hotel and food service business.
The name of the restaurant Lucy held together was called the ST.JAMES.
William Proctor died October 1896. He did not have children with Lucy. Lucy lived out her natural life in McLeansboro, Illinois working the restaurant until her health did not permit her to do so anymore. She died at age 80 years and 1 day August 19, 1917.
If anyone knows more about Lucy Peacock's mother it would be helpful.
