There was a website up about Jamestown during the 400 yr celebration and on that website I saw a reference to Nathaniel Peacock that said he died in 1642 of fever. There is also a tax record of 1625 (or 1628) for Nathaniel Peacock in Virginia. No proof that it is the same Nathaniel who came over with John Smith, but it is "thought" to be the same since there was no found record of Nathaniel among the known dead of the first settlers of Jamestown (however, there was no record of him among the known survivors either).
