I saw your posting about Keiffer Laxton of Paducah, KY back in 2006. I hope you get thix reply. I don't know about Keiffer but I have a group picture made at New Hope School in 1911. Some had wrote alist with the names of most of the students shown on a separate piece of paper. I have misplaced the list but I'm sure it will show up. One of the students was named Keiffer Laxton. He looked like he was about six or seven years old. In the group was an older girl identified as Keiffer's sister. I don't know if there is any connection to your Keiffer but I am willing to share the picture if you would like.
Also, I need some help locationg my grandfather John Laxson. I realize the names Laxton and Laxson can be interchanged at times. I know so very little about him. He would been born about 1860 and died shortly after my dad's third birthday which would be about 1895. He was supposed to have been buried around Greenfield, Tennessee. My dad thought he was a musician and played the guitar with some kind of musical grooup. I do have a couple of pictures of him. That is about the limit of what I know about him. If anyone can match him to someone they know, I would love to hear from you.
