I have been researching the names on a memorial in Sheffield, England which remembers the men of the Postal Service who fell in the Great War 1914-19

The result of this research is on my website http://www.stannington.webitsmart.co.uk/ in the 'Sheffield' section. There are details relating to Joseph William Laxton. I'd like to know more about him, especially the identity of any brothers, sisters etc. it would also be nice to know what he did for the post office. He was born in Handsworth and he was a member of the Royal Engineers.

Can anybody tell me more

Kind regards

Robert.
