I am trying to find when William Laxton and his wife Ellen Dawes came to Australia. I would also like to know where in England they came from and any information on them and their families.
Williams father was Thomas Laxton. Ellen's parents were Williams Dawes and Elizabeth McMillan.
William and Ellen had the following children in Victoria Australia during the 1800's.
Thomas b Great Western 1859, d Ararat 1860
Thomas b Redbank 1862
Sarah b Landsborough 1863.
Frank b Landsborough 1865.
Ellen b Pleasant Creek 1868.
Alfred b Pleasant Creek 1869.
William b Pleasant Creek 1872.
Henry b Pleasant Creek 1874.
