My grandmother was a Laxton. Do you have any information on the Missouri Laxton's ? Her father's name was James and her mother's was Mary Nash. There are a lot of Nash's in Mo. The counties I am intrested in are Reynolds,Crawford, Shannon,Dent Co., Mo.,not saying they could not have come from another state. That is where my family is from. My grandmother's name was Rosa Emiline(beautiful name I think) b. 24 Aug. 1891-? (my mother says she married my grandfather at age 14-15) m. William Joseph Conway 2 Aug 1909 if she was born in 1891 she would have been 18. There is a Rosa on the 1900 Wayne Co Mo.Census b. 1898.so 1898 would have made her 11 is to late, delima. Her father was william Coleman Laxton b July 1866 IL.and a PhoebeJ.(Mitchell)bmay1879,KY,IL..
