I am also researching my surname "Krumm." From what I know of my family line, there were three brothers who came from Baden, Germany. One, named Valerian von Krumm, came to New Orleans, LA and the other two, names unknown, travelled to New York. I don't know much about the history of the family because everyone, besides my brothers and I, have passed on.
I have a feeling that most of the Krumms in the US are related back in history somewhere. I am having a lot of luck with the website www.familysearch.org.
