I am searching for the ancestry of my G Grandmother's family. Louisa Krumm Snakenberg Weibley was born in Jefferson County Iowa March 20, 1842, died Sept 29, 1919 in Burlington, Iowa, buried in Bethel Cemetery 6 miles outside of Sigourney, Iowa in Keokuk County. Next to her is buried a daughter Maudie Weibley who died in 1881, at 2 1/2 yrs.
Her parents were Johann Jacob Krumm born about 1820 in Germany, came to US at age 18, settled first in Franklin County, Ohio. Married Dorothy Fichtner in Ohio, then moved to the vicinity of Merrimac, in Jefferson County, Iowa.

I have not been able to find any information of either of Louisa's parents. Her first husband, Rev. John Snakenberg is buried in Jefferson County, in the German Methodist Cemetery where a Johann Jacob Krumm is also buried. Louisa, buried in Keokuk County with daughter Maudie, is buried amongst the Snakenbergs, her first husband's family.
I did find a tombstone near Louisa with Anna Krumm, Mrs J,
1817 - 5 11 1887. These dates make it possible this is her mother.
