I can't tell if there's any connection at this time. I went to NC a couple of weeks ago looking for information on the Worrells and wasn't able to find anything pertinent at that time.
It seems the Kistler name came in somewhere on a maternal line and I think it was Paul. (Paul was actually her name, which I thought was quite unusual for a female.) Paul and James had the eight children I mentioned and one of their children, my great-grandmother, named her first child after her husband's half-brother, Oliver, and her mother Paul K. The child's name is Oliver Kistler Byars. He's still alive and is the last of that generation.
This and the information from the 1910 SC census indicates the Worrells had come from NC. I have unsubstantiated information that the family came from Virginia.
I do have the names and birthdates of all the children of James and Paul K. Worrell. All but one of these children are buried here in SC. There is one female buried in NC.
