Hi,

Just read your post, and am interested to know how you relate to Sylvestus Carr/Karr. Sylvestus and Dorcas were my great, great grandparents, though their daughter "Little" Dorcas and Elias Anderson. I saw Wesley included my name in his post as one of the descendants. It was my pleasure to correspond with Wesley several years ago and I also bought his book on the Hall family which was very well written. I'd love to discuss the Karr line with you. Wesley and I never completely jived on our information, but he has a lot of convincing evidence in his research identifying Elizabeth Keown as Sylvestus' mother. I was raised in Cherokee County, GA, which as you know was Sylvestus' home, and I've been to the cemetery where Dorcas is buried many times. Sylvestus' daughters Lucinda, Deborah, and Dorcas Carr Anderson are also buried there. Contact me by email if you'd like, gka1105@aol.com
Regards,
Glenna
