David and Sarah married in Clermont Co, 1860. David was a widower and Sarah a divorcee.
David had children from his first marriage:
Geo W b abt 1841 OH
John P b abt 1842 OH
Martha b abt 1845 OH
Charles b abt 1847 OH
Harriet b abt 1850 OH
Sarah had two sons from her first marriage:
Theodore b abt 1852 Clermont Co, OH
William James Nelson Carr b June 26, 1855 Clermont Co, OH
Soon after David and Sarah were married, they moved to Iowa. Sarah had two children with David, Matilda Harriet Snell and Abraham L Snell. Before 1880, the Snell family moved to Nebraska. James Carr moved back to Ohio to locate his father’s family.
Theodore Carr was raised by two different brothers of Sarah, in Clermont Co, OH. He may have gone by the nickname "Boney".
