Buddy,

Yes, please! How exciting! Sadly, my older brother died two years ago, but a first cousin is willing to participate, and perhaps my nephew, my brother's son, if he will slow down long enough! Somehow, my line of Jackson males is in short supply at this point in history.

Also, another Jackson researcher and friend, Naomi Vickers, already has participators from her line in the DNA database and corresponds with Don Jackson, who lives in Texas and is, I believe, the keeper of the Jackson DNA project database? Naomi's ancestors also came from Georgia and moved to Alabama -- hers to China Grove area, mine to Orion and Henderson areas. We both have Abner Jacksons in our lines; we both have relatives who moved to Texas after the Civil War. Naomi is trying to trace her John Thomas Jackson and I am trying to trace my Alexander. May I share your information with Naomi or will you send it to her also? You will see her name in the Messages at this Jackson Forum, too.

Thank you so much!
Very Respectfully, Sharon Jackson Mayfield
