Nicholas Fredrick Hunziker was born in Berne, Switzerland. Married Mary Elizabeth Lehman,who was born in Lucerne, Switzerland. Their son, Henry Fredrick, married Anna Marie Bowman. The latter couple came to America with 2 children, Henry Marion and baby girl. The little girl died in route, and was buried at sea. It is not known where they landed in the U.S. but it was around 1851. Two more daughters were born to this couple, perhaps in the Donnellson, Iowa area. The family later moved to Clark County, Missouri where Henry Fredrick ran a store in Winchester, around the years 1857. Have more information also.
