Would like any help or suggestions on where to look for the parents of Mary Hunsinger b abt 1848 in ?. Mary married Oscar Brauch in 1865 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Evansville, Ind and they had 6 children, including my grandmother. Mary was evidently a manic depressive, as she died in 1908 of "mania and chronic exhaustion." There are no Hunsingers in Vanderburgh Co in the 1850 Federal Census. Since Oscar was a german immigrant, I would think perhaps Mary was born in Germany herself, or was first generation. Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
