I have just found out that my great-great grandfather was Samuel Huntsinger. He was born in Switzerland in 1828 and came to New York in 1859. In his obituary it says that he held a prominent public position in Switzerland and had visited nearly every country in the eastern hemisphere. I am curious to know more about his family. Do any of you know Huntsingers that hail from Switzerland?
