Here is my story: I sure hope someone can help –
1850 McDowell Co. NC: Robert Hunsucker was 8 and living in the household with George W & Sarah Glap??. George Hunsucker was 14 and living with Jefferson Lancaster and a few other people. In 1856 George Huntsinger married Mary England 29 Dec. 1856 in McDowell Co. (she was the daughter of James & Elizabeth England) We know that Robert and George are brothers.
1860: can not find either brother ANYWHERE.
In 1868 George’s brother Robert m. Mary England’s little sister, Elizabeth in Lumpkin County, Ga.
1870: Lumpkin County I can trace both George and Robert and lineage from then until now – them using the names Hunsinger, and Huntsinger after reaching Georgia. I can also trace the England family, who had migrated to Lumpkin as well.
WHO HAS INFO ON GEORGE AND ROBERT OF MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C.????
