OBITUARY: The Morning Press, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Monday, May 8, 1961
Wilmer Z. Hunsinger, Chestnut St., Berwick, died Saturday morning at 5:00 o'clock, after an illness of several days, at Berwick Hospital.
Mr. Hunsinger was born at Sugarloaf and lived there 67 years. He moved to Berwick eight years ago. Mr. Hunsinger was the son of the late Samuel and Alice Shellhamer Hunsinger.
He was a member of the United Church of Christ of Berwick and was a former employee of the Multiples Company, and had also been a railroader. He had been retired for the past 20 years.
Surviving are his wife, Carrie H. Hunsinger; one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Cooper, Norristown, Pa.; a son, Henry Hunsinger, Berwick; a sister, Mrs. Clarance Houseknecht, Conyngham; a brother Ervin Hunsinger, Berwick and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 from the Fabian Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Wayne A. Lutz will officiate. Interment will be made in St. Paul's Cemetery, Sugarloaf.
