Since there doesn't seem to be a forum for this spelling of the name Unzicker, I decided to post a message here. I am looking for the ancestors of Wilhelm Unzicker, born 1850 in Germany, who immigrated with his wife, Barbara (Guingrich) and son William, who was born in 1880 in Germany. They immigrated in 1888, and settled in the Fisher, Champaign co., Illinois area. Wilhelm was a farmer. William and his sons, Ervin and Alvin, ran a plumbing business in Fisher. William married Anna Oyer, daughter of Christian Oyer. I don't know if Wilhelm had any other children, and I don't know what part of Germany they came from. Any information would be appreciated.
