Sandra,

I have a John Gottlieb Faas (1821-1902) in my line whose parents were Johann Gottlieb Faas (1790-1870) and Beatta Graezle (1793-1844). John was born in Wurtemburg, Germany, and married Caroline Miller in Ohio in 1845. From there, they moved to Beaver Dam, WI (where most of their children were born), and then on to Iowa County, Iowa. Two of John's daughters (Mary and Amelia) married Goodmans. I am a descendant of Amelia Faas and Gerhardt Goodman.

It seems like there are some parallels between your Faas family line and mine. Do you see any possible connections?
