Looking for info on Gottfried Ebert who is said to have died in Wisconsin about 1854/1855. He would have come from or near Greifenberg in Pommerania, Prussia. His son Martin "Friedrich" was born in Roderbeck, Pommerania in 1817 and married before 1840. Came to USA (WI)via New York late in 1854. I have extensive tree for Friedrich. Anyone who has WI death/cemetery records may be able to help here. At a guess Gottfried would have been born around 1780's.
