Your message was fascinating. I only read it today, but will re-read and digest it thoroughly. I thought I would enter my family lineage descended from Hans George Ebert (or Eppard), one of the 106 Palatines on the Ship Britannia of London, Michael Franklyn, Captain from Rotterdam, but last from Cowes, England. At the courthouse in Philadelphia, Sept 21, 1731, a list contained the names of Hans George Ebert and his brother, Hans Michael Ebert. I just located this information on ancestry.com (ID:11244). My line is: Hans George Ebert, b. 1674, Wallersheim (or Wollersheim) Germany (Black Forest area) spouse: unknown Hans George(Ebert?)(Eppard), 1701, Wollersheim, Ger. spouse1: unknown spouse 2: Marguerite Starke Windle(Ebert?)Eppard b. 1735 or 1736. Wollersheim, Ger. Died between 1800-1810, buried in Ebert Cemetery, Naked Creek, Rockingham Co., VA spouse: Christina Evert Johan George Eppard, b. 1780, Rockingham Co., VA, d. 1869 spouse: Catherine Busby Beasley John Eppard, 1806, Rockingham Co., VA. Died 1855 (probable accident) spouse: Mary Methene Smith James Andrew Eppard, b. May 2, 1844 (1847?), Page County, VA; Died May 10, 1925, Des Moines, IA spouse: Mary Jane Weaver Frank Royal Eppard, b. Feb 17, 1889, Iowa; died Nov. 30, 1964(?) Adel, Iowa spouse: Elsie May Turner Royal Marvin Eppard, April 5, 1914, Wick, Iowa; died Feb 27, 1997, Adel, IA spouse: Phyllis Ruth Trapp Dennis Lee Eppard, May 16, 1944 - (No sons, the line ends) spouse: Mary ? AND ME: Sonia Jean Eppard Chang, b. Sept 29, 1937, Washington, D.C.; Married John K. Chang, Sept 8, 1958, Ocean Grove N.J., widowed on Aug 30, 2003, Danville, Calif.
