Hi Dori,
Always nice to meet another family member.
I am also through August's son Gustave. My grandmother,
Anna Louise Ebert(Robinson), was his daugther and your grandfather's sister.
I don't have much more information either, other than what I listed. I do have a marriage date for August and Louisa of 14 Nov.1867, and my dad rememebers being told that Gustave was born in Stuttgart.
I would really like to be put in touch with Louisa's decendent, if that works out.
