Do you have more details on your Eberts.. where they settled in America.. My Eppard/Epert/Ebert/etc.. came over supposedly that same year from Germany. Was in NY for 2 yrs. then Michigan then Wisconsin before settling in MN. It is said he had a half-sister in Illinois and another sister still back in Germany.
