I am looking for info on Barbara Ebbert and her family. Barbara was
b. Oct 6, 1833 Burin, Germany. Mother was Margaret(maybe Bader)
b. abt 1796 Germany, d. Aug 8, 1885 Astoria, Ill. Barbara mar. John
Hare 4/26/1861 Baltimore Co, MD. They lived in Carroll Co., MD and
migrated to Schulyer Co, Ill. between 1870 and 1880. Barbara had a dau,
Mary Ann when she mar. John. In Barbaras' obit it said that she that her
Parents and 2 brothers and a sister preceded her in death. Barbara died
11/18/ 1913 Astoria, Fulton Co, Ill. I think these Ebberts settled in Carroll
Co, MD near the border of York Co. PA but have no Proof. Would appreciate
any help on this Ebbert family.
In checking back over this query I see that I forgot to say that in Barbaras'
obit it said she came to the US in 1834.
