Pat,

Just some follow up on the factory itself. I was just in Philadelphia doing some research. John Adam Ebert and his brother George came from the german town of Oberstetten in Wuertemburg in 1852. By 1854 they had founded the Ebert furniture factory and continued in Philadelphia until 1916 when they moved the factory to Red Lion, PA, The factory remained in the hands of the family until 1959 when the business was sold to the Bethlehem furniture factory. John Adam died in 1895 and the business was run by his widow, Verena and his sons, Frederick, John G. and Herman. I do not know a value on the furniture but all the pieces I have seen are very handsome. Enjoy.

Sincerely,

Don Conrad
