I bought a beautiful drop leaf desk at a Goodwill Store yesterday. It still has a big decal on the back with the heading: FROM Ebert Furniture Co., Red Lion, Penna., Established 1854. There's also an elaborate logo (printed red) with a lion in the center, that carries the name of the furniture store and town. Typed on the decal are: "7744", "Solid Maple Desk," "For J.S. Smith, Quakertown, PA. There's a line for the date, and someone has hand written with a pencil August 1935.

p.s. I found this site as I was researching the desk to establish a value. It's had some repair, but is still quite beautiful
